Is there a subscription?
No — and there never will be. The NukeOS app, cloud sending, shared family albums and over-the-air software updates are free for the life of the frame.
Can family send photos from anywhere?
Yes. Anyone you invite can send photos and videos from the NukeOS app on iOS or Android, from any city in the world — they arrive on the frame in seconds.
What if something goes wrong?

Wall-mounted the Gallery with the included VESA mount above the console table. At 21.5 inches it reads like a gallery print, and the white bezel is much nicer in person. Our wedding photos have never looked this good.
