Nukebox began in Noida with a simple observation: the photos we love most live trapped in our phones, while the frames on our walls stay frozen in one moment. We set out to fix both.

Nukebox is built by the Verma brothers from a workshop-turned-office in Sector 62, Noida — one obsessed with how the frame looks and feels, the other with keeping every promise it makes.

The sketch
Two brothers, one workbench in Noida. The first “frame” is a tablet in a hand-cut wooden border — ugly, glowing, and completely wrong. But the question sticks: why do our best photos die inside our phones?
Fourteen prototypes
A year of matte panels, glare tests and bezels that finally feel like furniture. The pledge is signed before the first sale: 100% recycled plastic bodies, fair factory floors, no shortcuts.
NukeOS is born
The software catches up with the hardware. Photos travel encrypted from any phone in the family to the frame in seconds — and a 40-home beta of grandparents becomes our toughest QA team.
Made in India, made fairly
The Noida line starts up. Every unit is colour-calibrated by hand, heat-soaked and drop-tested — and the ten-trees-per-frame programme takes root with our first planting partners.
The Aura Collection
Four frames — Aura 10, Heritage 10, Studio 16, Gallery 22 — launch on nukebox.co. The first customer groves are chosen across India, and the workbench finally gets cleaned. Briefly.
