About five minutes. Plug the frame in, join your 2.4 GHz WiFi through the NukeOS app, and invite the family. Grandparents need exactly zero steps — photos simply appear on the frame.
Is there a subscription?
No — and there never will be. The NukeOS app, cloud sending, shared family albums and over-the-air software updates are free for the life of the frame.
Can family send photos from anywhere?
Yes. Anyone you invite can send photos and videos from the NukeOS app on iOS or Android, from any city in the world — they arrive on the frame in seconds.
What if something goes wrong?

Bought this for my parents in Chennai and set it up over a video call in ten minutes. Now my mother checks the frame before she checks her phone. The matte screen really doesn't look like a screen at all.
